Nicoll Curtin Technology achieves ISO certifications

28 July 2010

Nicoll Curtin Technology has achieved ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certification after an audit by the British Assessment Bureau, passing first time with flying colours.

The company believes that it is increasingly important for clients and candidates to see that the business is committed to maintaining quality standards. The ISO certifications prove that Nicoll Curtin runs its business according to best practice, and has streamlined procedures to create an efficient service to clients, contractors and candidates.

It is also something that their MD, Lawrence Hargreaves, hopes will open new doors for the business:
‘ISO certification has already helped us to win a place on the Buying Solutions Framework, a major coup for our Public Sector division. And it’s something that more and more clients are asking for.’ <

Lisa Collins, Group Operations Manager for the company, added:

‘Working towards the ISO certifications has enabled us to take a look at our processes and identify ways we can improve customer service and increase our effectiveness.

ISO 9001:2008 certification is awarded to companies who have robust processes in place across all aspects of the business, ranging from document control to data quality, purchasing to HR practices.

ISO 14001:2004 certification is given to companies who have a proven environmental management system in place to reduce consumption and waste, and operate good environmental practices, such as reusing and recycling.
