We achieve 3 Star Status from Best Companies in 2008

02 December 2008

Nicoll Curtin Limited has been awarded 'Three Star Status' by Best Companies. This year, 558 companies registered their entry in the 'Star Status' competition and only 48 achieved the extraordinary ranking of 3 stars.

The star status ranking was determined by our employees' answers to the Best Companies opinion survey, which is specifically designed to measure employee engagement. A number of factors were measured in the survey, including: Leadership, Company culture, Personal Growth, Management, Team, Giving Something Back to the community, Fair treatment, and Well Being. Our highest ranking was in the Management category where over 90% of employees felt supported, trusted and cared for by their immediate manager.

Beverley Brown, Managing Director of Kavanagh Brown and Deputy Chairman of Nicoll Curtin Limited says: "Nicoll Curtin Limited is now in its eighth year with a staff of over 60 across our three business lines. We have achieved this by employing individuals that are both team orientated and carry with them a code of ethics that Nicoll Curtin Limited instils. This along with the passion we ensue makes us the 'Partner of Choice'."

Rodney Fraser, Managing Director of Nicoll Curtin Technology says "It's fantastic to know what our staff think of the company. Best Companies is highly recognised, and we're very proud of our achievement. We recognise that our staff are our most valuable asset and our growth is dependant on attracting talented, entrepreneurial people and retaining them in an environment that they want to be in."

The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For list will be released in March and we are eagerly waiting to hear how we have fared compared to the best employers across the country.
