A global investment banking client is looking for a Specialist Advisor under their Anti-Fraud, Bribery and Corruption division with APAC coverage.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders across the Bank internationally to implement remediation that fulfils the Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) within the Bank
- Support Global AFBC on the remediation of regulatory commitments
- Support the development and successful implementation of the AFC framework in alignment with global regulatory requirements
- Support relevant 1LOD and 2LOD stakeholders on the development of commensurate solutions for Third Party Risk Management
- Coordinate the implementation of business requirements, systems, processes, and procedures of the AFC framework with key stakeholders
- Monitor all issues or challenges identified during the implementation feasibility stage to ensure they are addressed within agreed timelines and update the Working Group periodically
- Participate in the execution of Anti-Bribery & Corruption Risk Assessments and read across/lessons learnt exercises to understand the bank's inherent exposure to Bribery & Corruption and effectiveness of controls to mitigate the risk
- Prepare risk-focused management information ensuring that Senior AFBC Management and key stakeholders in the Business, IT and CRO are regularly informed and up-to-date
- Support and perform data analysis, cleansing and system migration
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in building an ABC program for an FI, preferably at a Global level (including but not limited to governance process, outsourcing, third party risk management, KYC, financial crime compliance, risk assessment, due diligence and monitoring)
- Experience in delivering tactical and strategic Anti-Bribery & Corruption analytical solutions / programmes for end-users, and of working with Change teams
- Knowledge of applicable ABC regulations and regulatory expectations in respect of managing ABC risk in financial services
- Able to build good engagement with management across business and infrastructure functions, and building constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including challenge where required
- Good business analysis skills
- Ability to work on confidential matters with independent judgement
- Proficiency with various software applications including Microsoft Office applications
- Monitor, analyse and collect data and develop effective regular and ad hoc reports in usable formats (typically through Excel or PowerPoint) as required
- Provide comprehensive analysis and report distribution of trends and unusual situations.
