Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies that align with the business goals, digital transformation initiatives, and compliance requirements of banking clients.
• Collaborate with clients in the creation of technology roadmaps to guide investments for long-term growth and innovation.
• Take the lead in designing and reviewing technology solutions, ensuring strict adherence to architectural best practices, security standards, and scalability requirements.
• Interact with senior executives, business leaders, and IT teams to comprehend specific needs, challenges, and objectives, translating them into actionable architectural plans.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes in the banking sector, offering informed recommendations to foster innovation.
• Evaluate technology risks, cybersecurity concerns, and regulatory compliance issues, providing expert guidance on effective mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, encompassing blueprints, technical specifications, and design patterns.
• Promote collaboration among cross-functional teams, both internally at KPMG and with clients, to ensure the successful execution of architectural projects.
• Enforce and implement architecture governance processes and standards to uphold consistency and quality in technology solutions.

Your Experience, Skills, and Capabilities:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a substantial background in the banking or financial sector.
• Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of banking systems, financial regulations, and industry-specific challenges in Ireland.
• Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Have familiarity with cloud computing, microservices architecture, and data modeling.
• Hold a certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF certification), providing a significant advantage.
