Are you an experienced JAVA Software Engineer that is looking for an interesting new contract job in Zurich? Do you have experience of developing Java Spring Boot microservices for high availability applications? You will be joining a new team that are responsible for developing the Back End services and APIs for an automated FX trading application. The application consists of a microservices architecture and will provide an Automated Trading service that connects with various institutional investors, financial institutions and exchanges.
You will be developing JAVA Spring Boot Microservices and APIs in an Agile approach, whilst making use of Kafka and Tibco RV for messaging/Streaming. The team are believers in DevOps, and as such you will be responsible for supporting the application and using Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines. Experience with FIX is really important for this position given the need for connectivity - however this experience can be gained through developing software for any asset class - FX would be ideal.
Initially starting as a 12 month contract, you will likely be engaged for a number of years as this is a critical program for the company and after the delivery on the FX side, there will be the opportunity to work across other asset classes including Equity and Structure Products.
