The client is a Global Social Media company looking for an Analyst to develop research and organize data of the international politics and governments in the APAC region.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research and compile databases of company-related information pertaining to governments, politicians, and political parties in the Asia-Pacific and India regions, ensuring the inclusion of only legitimate accounts.
  2. Regularly audit data to maintain its integrity, accuracy, and quality.
  3. Contribute to Political Integrity programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams in Policy, Product, and Operations.
  4. Spearhead improvement initiatives by evaluating data infrastructure and cooperating with Engineering teams to enhance existing workflows.
  5. Assist in risk management and integrity endeavors to facilitate informed decision-making.
  6. Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to address intricate business challenges.
  7. Establish and manage books of business and support ongoing data architecture governance.
  8. Propose and implement solutions to enhance the research process, encompassing data querying, collection, storage, and product development and analysis.
  9. Extract, import, and export data from diverse database tables.
  10. Provide support for data visualization and table dashboards to aid data-driven decision-making processes.
  11. Assist stakeholders in daily usage of data systems, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  12. Generate weekly and monthly reports outlining trends, patterns, and modifications within the database table.
  13. Adhere to and operate in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  1. At least 2 years of professional experience with a focus on research regarding political landscape in APAC.
  2. Fundamental programming skills in SQL.
  3. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Proficiency in English and a prominent national language from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
  5. Advanced expertise in Excel and a history of working with extensive datasets.
  6. Knowledge of international politics, political parties, global leaders, and national legislators.
  7. Understanding of the political landscape in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and India.
  8. Capability and experience in independent work, with a track record of taking initiative in unpredictable, dynamic environments.
  9. Ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks while meeting deadlines and filtering out unreliable information.
