Senior Front End Engineer

  • Switzerland
  • CHF 120,000
  • Permanent
  • Discipline: Software Development
  • Ref: 49519

Located in the centre of Zürich, this full-time Frontend Developer position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the next generation of in-car gaming and digital entertainment experiences. The company has built the world’s first gaming platform designed specifically for vehicles — transforming infotainment, sound, and lighting systems into immersive, interactive environments. Already partnered with several global automotive and entertainment leaders, the team is now expanding its platform beyond gaming, redefining how passengers interact with digital content inside cars.

Starting in January 2026, this role comes with a competitive total compensation of CHF 100,000–120,000, depending on experience. As a Frontend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performing, responsive web applications that bring these next-generation in-car experiences to life. Working closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders, you’ll turn creative concepts and prototypes into seamless, scalable interfaces that delight users. You’ll be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code, integrating APIs and services, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, and upholding accessibility standards. You’ll also contribute to code reviews, participate in agile sprints, and help improve development processes across the team.

To thrive in this position, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience, along with strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. You should bring hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular, and familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, Vuex, or NgRx. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs or GraphQL, version control with Git, and principles of responsive and adaptive design are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a meticulous eye for detail, will be key to success.

Additional experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright, as well as CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or mobile development (iOS/Android, Cordova, etc.) will be considered a plus. Familiarity with performance optimization, design systems, and working within Agile/Scrum environments will also give you an advantage.

Joining this team means becoming part of a lean, fast-moving, and innovative group that operates at the intersection of gaming and automotive technology. You’ll enjoy direct ownership of your work, minimal bureaucracy, and the ability to see your code power interactive experiences in vehicles across the world. The position offers both creative and technical freedom, a collaborative work culture, and an office in Zürich’s vibrant city centre — where innovation, entertainment, and technology meet.
