One of Hong Kong's most renowned employers is currently undergoing a major HR transformation, and has an urgent need for ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Technical Specialists to join the team ASAP on an initial 12 months' contract with a view of going permanent. As a skilled and motivated ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Technical Specialist, you are responsible for enhancements on the HRSD product within the ServiceNow platform. This role is pivotal in planning, configuring, and developing innovative processes and solutions that streamline HR operations. The ideal candidate will act as a technical consultant, bridging the gap between HR, business units, and IT teams, while adhering to HRSD and ServiceNow best practices. Your primary mission will be to implement, automate, and refine processes that drive operational efficiency and standardization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement by refining and optimizing HRSD processes to enhance efficiency and elevate the end-user experience.
- Support the design and deployment of new features, including HR case management, HR knowledge base, Manager Hub, Virtual Agent, lifecycle events, and more.
- Serve as a technical expert for product teams, guiding configuration, deployment, and configuration management efforts (upgrades, enhancements, etc.).
- Identify and prioritize product configuration activities to ensure rapid responses to evolving business requirements.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to establish effective processes and procedures for ongoing maintenance and large-scale development initiatives.
- Work closely with leadership and technical teams to implement processes and tools that facilitate the automation of builds, deployments, and testing.
- Simplify complex design tasks to streamline deployment processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert for HR and other teams, addressing technical inquiries and providing guidance.
- Mentor and train IT Analysts and other stakeholders as needed.
- Provide support for critical product and platform issues.
Experience & Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in enterprise software support, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of ServiceNow experience, including at least 2 years in HRSD.
- Proven experience collaborating with product owners, developers, and project delivery teams to identify, plan, execute, and test solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Kanban and release planning, is preferred.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow and HR Service Delivery.
- Understanding of digital workplace capabilities and best practices.
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
