Description

Nicoll Curtin are currently working closely with a high profile Swiss name looking for an experienced Agile Coach/ Scrum Master to join their fast paced, technologically driven and digitally focused organisation

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with business to ensure seamless technical delivery with a focus on customer outcomes
  • Be Agile champion within the organisation and guide business groups for the adoption of Agile principles
  • Ensure development and business come together to achieve “shared understanding”
  • Drive and advocate an “Oral story telling tradition” within the business
  • Advocate and train the organisation in the use of Scrum, Kanban, DevOps and SAFe
  • Arrange and run internal training programs to facilitate cultural change whilst continuing to execute
  • Support remote development teams and liaise with on-site business resources to achieve “shared understanding”
  • Support the day to day running of the agile delivery teams, helping them to meet their commitment to their sprint goal
  • Ensure blockers are owned and removed so that the teams can continue working with minimal delay
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders, primarily the Product Owner, to prioritise the backlog and create and maintain the product roadmap
  • Apply the appropriate level of agile governance to the delivery process, covering communication, reporting and metrics

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrable experience of leading transformation to agile practices or continuous improvements in newly established agile teams
  • Experienced within delivering Agile Leadership- covering Agile, Scrum, Kanban and SAFe within corporate organisations
  • Demonstrable experience of raising issues and driving change
  • Experience of changing organisational/team/department mind-sets, culture and structure
  • Deep understanding of the Agile Manifesto and principles
  • Experience and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority
  • Situational awareness: must be savvy to risk and issue identification and mitigation as they arise and understand how and when to escalate to senior management
