DevOps Engineer
Permanent role
Location: Aarau (An on-site role for the probation period – flexibility afterward)
Salary: negotiable +- 120K CHF
A Swiss company, located in Aarau, that's been safeguarding digital realms for over 25 years, specializing in cyber security solutions, is seeking a DevOps Engineer. In their quest to ensure cyber defense, they run a Security Operations Center that never sleeps, offering services like development, consulting, and security assessments. They're ISO 27001 certified, and they're all about making life easier for businesses by integrating security seamlessly. Now, on the lookout for a professional to join the team as a DevOps Engineer who's not just tech-savvy but also has a heart for security.
You will:
- Participate in platform automation and modernization of the geo-redundant data center
- Take care of the virtual platform powered by VMware.
- Enhance their GitOps workflow.
- Operation of the VxRail appliances and integration of VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Cluster
- Transform old applications into container-based wonders.
- Craft solutions and, if you fancy it, lead new customer projects.
We want someone who:
- Knows Linux inside out and has strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Can automate processes with Ansible, Bash, or Python.
- Has a soft spot for security (though prior experience isn't mandatory).
- Speaks the language of German at a B2 level.
Please note, that the first 3 months during the probation period is an on-site role, in Aarau, and following that flexibility will be provided.
