Head of HR - Head of People and Culture

We are doing an exclusive search for an international tech company headquartered in Zurich, with a successful business in Switzerland and abroad. As a Head of HR - Head of People and Culture, you will have the overall strategic and operational accountability for the full human resources life cycle. As a part of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive human resource strategy to support the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.


The successful candidate will design and build an HR function that is able to scale with the business and take ownership of its direction for the company's future growth and expansion. You are a strategic, confident, effective, and vital part to the company’s overall success.


Developing best practices, you need to ensure a great working environment, and work to improve the company culture continuously and creatively. You will be responsible for supporting and coaching the management team and line managers to execute organizational change and scale the company.


To be successful in this role you need to have several years of experience in a senior HR position in an international environment and be familiar with the local ecosystem and Swiss working culture. You need to be familiar with the work and culture of a fast-growing start-up, preferably with experience in a high-growth tech company. You have proven success providing leadership and coaching to executives, managers, and the wider team.


You have excellent English and German skills, and additional languages will be a plus. As a hands-on personality who is proactive to get things done, you are also a strategic thinker with an ability to implement actionable initiatives. You are comfortable with working in a dynamic environment, resilient and able to make decisions to achieve desired results. As a skilled communicator, you are comfortable asking challenging questions and being challenged, focused on developing out of the box ideas.
