Our client is looking for a few Network Engineers to support one of their projects in Singapore. Due to the nature of the project, the working hours for this role is 8am - 5pm, 5 days a week, and with rotating shifts that includes weekends. No night shifts are required for this role.
There are multiple roles open for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 Network Engineer roles.

Responsibilities (Tier 1):
- Support triage, troubleshooting, and repair of production networks in the data center
- Facilitate fault identification, isolation, troubleshooting of issues, issue resolution, and configuration updates
- Escalate complex / high priority issues to to Tier 2 and Operations Engineering leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and/or automate tasks
- At least 2 years Linux administration, server management, network management experience
- Aptitude to troubleshoot basic network connectivity, diagnostics and configuration
- Aptitude to execute POPs for troubleshooting, triage, and repair
- Good understanding of network routing and switching technologies and protocols including SDH, DWDM, TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, CDP, LLDP, BGP, ISIS, and OSPF
- Experience with IPv4/IPv6 and familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Linux/Unix Shell, JSP, Ruby, Perl along with Linux and other OS knowledge including kernel
- Experience with HPE servers, DNS and NTP services
- Intermediate knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Physical Media (Multimode Fiber, Singlemode Fiber, UTP, etc.), bridging, switching, routing, ethernet and transport technologies and protocols
- Experience with network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology
- Efficient knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
- Intermediate knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations
- Basic network devices and basic network appliances
- Experience with network designing software, such as Visio
