We are looking for a Solution Architect to work in the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) domain to support the successful design and implementation of GRC tooling for the Cyber Security Enhancement program for our client, who is a global investment bank and financial services firm in London.


The role is for a 12-months contract, with a hybrid way of working.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with IT project management and development teams to ensure timely and adequate solution delivery
  • Perform evaluations of GRC products and solutions, make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives, and communicate recommendation
  • Prepare architectural documentation ( high level, low level, technical design ) for GRC solutions in scope
  • Cooperate with respective SMEs to address CS requirements related to the security of solutions in scope
  • Ensure that solution architecture and design is aligned to broader Program, Portfolio, and Domain Architecture
  • Participate in the strategic analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions
  • Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs


Requirements:

  • Proven track record of several years' experience performing in an IT architecture role in IT risk / GRC tool context (knowledge of ServiceNow IRM is a plus)
  • Experience with GRC SaaS solutions
  • Experience with broad technology delivery and with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients
  • Experience with agile delivery of complex solutions integrated with various up and downstream systems
  • Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for software projects, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations,
  • Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems, maintaining and improving legacy systems with complex dependencies,
  • Knowledge and understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF), certification is a plus,
  • Knowledge of control and risk management industry standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, COSO) is a plus
