Test Manager
Are you an experienced Test Manager looking for a new and Senior Test Manager contract job in Zurich? Are you interested in defining and conceptualising the testing, organising the management of testing, evaluating and determining what test tools are used on a very large scale big data lake. If so this could be the perfect next Test Manager contract job for you.
You will be joining a program that has been ongoing for the past 3 years, in which the organisation have developed a Hadoop based datalake that connects to over 100 different systems and has over 1000 data pipelines. The developers on the team are currently doing their own integration testing but there is no centralised control or management of the process. As such the team are looking for an experienced Test Manager to define the test concepts, implement these and agree on how they perform test automation.
This is truly a greenfield for an experienced Test Manager, you will determine what tools are used, define all concepts and drive the testing alongside their internal testing centre of excellence.
Previous experience of Big Data applications is a benefit, but high level understanding of these concepts or having worked on heavily data driven projects will be sufficient - the key is true Test Management expertise.
