We are currently looking for a proactive and motivated PLM / Engineering Applications IT Consultant to join our clients IT team in Winterthur on hybrid setup.
Your Role:
- Develop global solutions and strategies throughout the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, while also providing expert advice to process owners.
- Manage projects and sub-projects in this domain.
- Tailor and configure tools like MEDUSA/MEDINFO/MPDS (Plant Design), Engineering Base, and Teamcenter/NX (Design), ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems, SAP-DMS, and other auxiliary systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal clients.
- Collaborate with power users, IT team members, and external partners to perform functional and practical testing.
- Provide global first-level support for engineering systems.
- Deliver second-level support globally, focusing on areas of expertise and preference.
Your Profile:
- University degree in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or mechatronics.
- Strong proficiency in CAD and PLM system applications.
- Advanced IT training and hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft server products.
- Knowledge of architectural design for feasible solutions in an international context.
- Programming knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent command of both German and English.
