Data Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Data Engineer to support strategic data initiatives within the asset management sector. In this role, you will engage in data analysis, Oracle database development, ETL processes, best engineering practice implementation, testing, deployment, and Level 3 support. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about improving data quality and delivering innovative data solutions for key business partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Proven expertise in data analysis and performance tuning for SQL and PL/SQL
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of logical data modeling and relational database design
- Experience with ETL processes, preferably using Informatica
- Proficiency in working with AWS services, Data APIs, Snowflake, and Python
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Exposure to Oracle APEX is a plus
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools such as GIT and Jenkins
- Experience in financial and investment domains is desirable
- Ability to support Agile teams and provide L3 support in distributed environments
