We are looking for an Operational Procurement / Purchase Order Specialist for one of our clients coming from the telco sector, supporting a complex and fast‑paced SAP hardware ordering environment.

 

In this role, you will own the end‑to‑end PR to PO conversion, ensuring all purchase requests are processed within defined SLAs and executed with a strong “first time right” mindset. You will be at the heart of daily operations, acting as the key interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers, managing communication, order follow‑ups and resolving operational issues such as delivery delays or invoice mismatches.

 

You will actively monitor and manage the order backlog, ensuring timely delivery and escalating where needed, while maintaining high data quality as the foundation for accurate order processing.

 

Beyond execution, you will help stabilise and improve operational processes, identifying opportunities to optimise ordering, tracking and issue handling. You will also contribute to SAP hardware ordering initiatives and projects, supporting testing, implementation and operational readiness.

 

If you bring 3–5 years of experience in operational procurement or purchase order management, strong hands‑on SAP PR‑to‑PO expertise, and confidence in managing suppliers at an operational level, this could be a great next step. You should be fluent in English and comfortable communicating in German in day‑to‑day operations.

 

Experience with Ariba, material master data, operational projects or telecommunications is a strong advantage.
