Are you an IT Business Analyst or IT Project Manager with strong experience in business analysis, digitalisation, and IT project delivery?

 

We are currently supporting a leading organisation with a requirement for an IT Business Analyst / IT Project Manager (80–100%) in Buchs AG.

 

This role sits at the intersection of business and IT, focusing on translating business requirements into technically feasible solutions and driving IT and digitalisation projects from conception through implementation. You will connect business departments, IT teams, developers, and external partners while supporting process optimisation and digital transformation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technically feasible IT solutions
  • Plan, manage, and control IT and digitalisation projects from conception to implementation
  • Coordinate business departments, IT teams, and external partners and moderate workshops
  • Define business and technical solutions, concepts, specifications, and decision-making criteria
  • Manage project timelines, costs, risks, dependencies, and overall progress
  • Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners
  • Support testing, business and technical acceptance, implementation, training, and handover into operations
  • Support IT project portfolio management, prioritisation, and resource planning
  • Challenge existing processes and solutions and identify opportunities for digitalisation and optimisation

 

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Business Analysis, Process Management, or IT Project Management
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong understanding of applications, interfaces, data flows, and system architectures
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Experience with CRM systems and data management
  • Ability to assess technical solutions and communicate effectively with developers and IT specialists
  • Experience working with classic, agile, and hybrid project methodologies
  • Ideally, hands-on experience supporting, integrating, configuring, or implementing digital solutions
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills
  • Independent, structured, and pragmatic working approach
  • Excellent German required; English is an advantage
  • Experience in the energy sector is an advantage
