Position Overview This role provides administrative and operational backing to the claims department. The primary focus is ensuring organized intake, efficient record processing, and responsive support for health, personal protection, and individual coverage claims across various benefit programs.
Key Responsibilities
Claims Intake & Records Administration

Perform manual data entry and registration for incoming benefit claims.

Prepare, organize, and index physical claim documents for scanning and upload into electronic systems.

Maintain complete and accurate digital and physical record archives.
Communications & Support Inquiries

Address incoming email requests and general inquiries regarding active cases.

Assist processing staff by responding to queries from distribution partners, customer service teams, and industry database checks.

Follow up with external stakeholders to gather missing information and resolve document gaps.
Official Documentation & Correspondence

Draft formal replies to legal inquiries involving estate settlements, probate records, and authority documentation.

Issue proactive claim notifications and invitation notices to potential policy beneficiaries.

Contact healthcare facilities, clinics, and medical institutions to retrieve outstanding medical records and evaluation reports.
Routine Operations & Logistics

Receive and process daily physical correspondence, payment instruments, and paper claim packages.

Update tracking databases for balance-protection and debt-linked coverages.

Conduct verification checks across regional medical and industry directories to validate claim inputs.

Facilitate payment instructions and fund releases to ensure timely disbursements.
General Departmental Support

Qualifications & Experience
Background & Education

Secondary school certificate, vocational diploma, or tertiary qualification in any specialization.
