My client, a leading international institution in Hong Kong is seeking a Data savvy Finance Manager to join their expanding team in Hong Kong. 

Responsibilities 

  • Continuously track business performance against targets through core KPIs.

  • Develop financial models and business cases to support new products and projects funding approval.

  • Keep track of financial performance and conduct post implementation review.

  • Highlight emerging performance issues, including variances caused by system behaviour or unexpected market dynamics.

  • Provide actionable insights to support timely management decisions and strategic adjustments to facilitate business growth.

  • Develop and maintain databases to meet business needs and ensure data accuracy and availability.

  • Perform data mining and analysis to support ad-hoc analytical tasks, incident management and strategic programmes.

  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to specify user and business requirements for system development.

  • Assist the Team Lead in monitoring progress identify potential risks or bottlenecks and propose solutions.

Requirements 

 

  • Degree in  Business Administration / Accounting / Finance Master's degree is a plus

  • Professional qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant are preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Finance, Data Analysis, Data Mining, or related disciplines

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis

  • Hands‑on experience with BI tools, including Tableau or Power BI

  • Proficiency in data wrangling using Python or Alteryx is a plus

  • Experience in streamlining workflows and automating reports and financial models, with a proficiency in database structures
