A large global financial institution is looking for an M365 Copilot SME to lead the engineering, configuration, and governance of Copilot capabilities across its Microsoft 365 environment.
Â
The organization operates across multiple countries and regions, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and responsible AI adoption. This role sits at the intersection of AI enablement, enterprise architecture, and end-user productivity.
Â
This is an initial 12-month onsite contract role in Hong Kong.
Â
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and govern Copilot and agent solutions using Copilot Studio, including prompt design, knowledge grounding, and publishing controls
• Automate workflows and processes using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) to complement Copilot use cases
• Integrate Copilot and agents with enterprise data and services via Microsoft Graph API, ensuring correct authentication, permissions, and data access
• Implement enterprise-grade guardrails covering access controls, content boundaries, DLP, and information protection
• Measure adoption and productivity impact using Work IQ and telemetry; iterate on agent design based on data and user feedback
• Run end-to-end testing (functional, safety, regression) for prompts and agent solutions, and remediate issues as they arise
• Partner with data and platform teams to align Copilot scenarios to trusted data foundations, including Microsoft Fabric where applicable
Â
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience delivering Copilot and/or agent solutions in a large, regulated enterprise environment
• Deep proficiency in Copilot Studio — connectors, actions, knowledge grounding, and lifecycle management
• Strong Power Platform skills across Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse
• Practical experience integrating Microsoft Graph API across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, mail, calendar, and identity scenarios
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering patterns, grounding strategies, and responsible AI principles
• Ability to define and track success metrics using Work IQ and related analytics tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric for data sourcing, semantic modelling, and reporting
• Comfortable working across cultures and time zones in a global, matrixed organisation
Â
Nice to have:
• Experience with enterprise change management and Copilot adoption programs
• Exposure to Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance within Copilot environments
Â
This is a strong fit for Microsoft AI practitioners who are equally comfortable in hands-on configuration and stakeholder engagement — and who can operate with confidence in a highly regulated, globally distributed environment.
