Senior Production Manager (Taiwan)

We are looking for a high-level Production Strategy & Manager to anchor our growing slate of premium projects in the Taiwan market. This role is designed for a veteran of the film industry who can navigate the complexities of physical production while maintaining a bird’s-eye view of financial and operational health.

The Mission

You will serve as the primary operational link between a major studio infrastructure and independent production houses. Your goal is to ensure that every series or feature film under your purview is executed with technical excellence, fiscal discipline, and a focus on crew well-being.

Key Focus Areas

  • Fiscal Integrity: You’ll be the "gatekeeper" of the budget, vetting initial costs, auditing weekly spend, and ensuring resources are diverted toward high-impact on-screen results rather than administrative waste.

  • Operational Architecture: Setting up the "bones" of a show from establishing 4K-ready technical workflows to ensuring safety protocols are robust and enforceable.

  • Strategic Staffing: Leveraging a deep network of local industry contacts to hire key department heads and secure vendors that align with the creative vision and local tax incentive requirements.

  • Dynamic Problem Solving: Serving as the lead "firefighter" when production hurdles arise, providing calm, empathetic leadership to external partners during high-pressure shoot days.

  • Workflow Integration: Harmonizing the needs of creative development, legal, and post-production to ensure a seamless path from the first day of prep to final asset delivery.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven Track Record: At least 7 years of experience as a Line Producer or Production Executive, specifically overseeing mid-to-large-scale scripted projects.

  • Local Market Mastery: Deep, "boots-on-the-ground" knowledge of the Taiwanese production landscape, including talent pools and vendor relations.

  • Technical Savvy: High proficiency in modern digital cinema standards, scheduling software, and cloud-based collaboration tools.

  • Bilingual Communication: Fluency in English is essential for navigating international studio standards, paired with the discretion required to handle sensitive intellectual property.

  • Adaptability: The ability to move fluidly between a corporate environment and an active film set, managing multiple projects at various stages of their lifecycle simultaneously.
