Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines within a structured, enterprise delivery environment. This role requires strong independence, solid DevOps fundamentals, and the ability to contribute as a technical subject-matter resource within a cross-functional team.

You will work closely with engineering, security, and platform teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure systems, while continuously improving automation, deployment processes, and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery

  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure and automation using industry-standard tools and practices

  • Support containerised environments and orchestration platforms in production settings

  • Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and proactively optimise for stability and efficiency

  • Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance DevOps processes, tooling, and delivery standards

  • Contribute actively to technical discussions and provide practical solutions to delivery-related issues

  • Act as a technical reference point within the team and mentor junior engineers where required


Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer

  • Proven experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar)

  • Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Working knowledge of infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Understanding of security best practices within CI/CD and cloud environments

  • Ability to work independently within defined architectures and governance frameworks

  • Comfortable operating in enterprise or client-facing environments
