My client is a leading global market making, high frequency trading firm, now in a phase of rapid international expansion they are adding to their highly experienced technology team in Hong Kong. Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to help steer their innovative and cutting-edge crypto platforms to the next level you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support activities for the production environment
  • Optimise the company infrastructure architecture in cloud environment to achieve best network performance
  • Debug kernel performance and resolve production issues in real time
  • Dive into difficult network or Linux related problems
  • Participate in infrastructure architecture design for office expansion purposes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other technical discipline 
  • 10 years of working experience in Linux production support and Cloud environment, with a good understanding of Linux system administration, and troubleshooting and incident response
  • Excellent Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting) experience, including Cloud infrastructure management (AWS/ALI/Oracle setup and configuration)
  • Multi-cloud platform experience (AWS, ALI, Oracle, Azure) would be advantageous 
  • A good understanding of Networking (leased lines, latency optimisation) and monitoring and alerting systems (setup and enhancement)
  • Experience in OS kernel tuning (C-group, IRQ affinity, low-latency optimisation in Cloud/physical machines)
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities (JIRA/Confluence for project management and documentation would be a bonus) 
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skillset
