Senior UX/UI Designer and Specialist

  • Switzerland
  • CHF 100,000
  • Permanent
  • Discipline: Software Development
  • Ref: 49518

Based in the heart of Zürich, this full-time Senior UX/UI Designer role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of in-car digital entertainment. The company has created the world’s first gaming platform built specifically for vehicles, transforming ordinary car rides into immersive, interactive experiences where passengers can play directly using their smartphones as controllers. Their platform is already integrated into several well-known global automotive brands, and they are now expanding beyond gaming to reimagine the entire in-vehicle digital experience.

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you’ll take full ownership of the design process — from early research and concept creation through to polished, production-ready interfaces for next-generation infotainment systems. Working closely with the Founder and development teams, you’ll lead the design of intuitive, safe, and elegant user experiences optimized for in-car environments, ensuring seamless usability on smaller screens and within complex digital ecosystems. You’ll prototype rapidly using Figma or equivalent design tools, ideally leveraging AI-powered solutions to accelerate ideation and iteration. Your role will also include conducting user research and usability testing, translating data-driven insights into beautifully functional interfaces, and collaborating directly with engineers to bring your designs to life.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience in UX/UI design, ideally within consumer-facing digital products, mobile interfaces, or infotainment systems. You should bring a sharp sense of interaction design, strong user empathy, and the ability to balance creativity with usability. Mastery of Figma, Sketch, or Canva is expected, along with familiarity with AI design tools for rapid prototyping. Excellent communication in English and a self-driven, independent mindset are essential. Experience with Android Automotive OS, connected-vehicle environments, or a passion for gaming and entertainment experiences would be considered a distinct advantage.

Joining this dynamic and innovative company means being part of a lean, fast-moving, and well-funded team at the intersection of gaming and automotive technology. You’ll enjoy significant creative freedom, minimal bureaucracy, and the satisfaction of seeing your designs integrated into vehicles around the world. The role begins January 2026 and offers a competitive Swiss-market salary aligned with senior-level design positions in Zürich, along with a collaborative, centrally located office environment where creativity meets technology.
