I am seeking an Application Support Analyst to join my client, a leading capital management firm based in London. You will be responsible for supporting applications/systems across all areas across the business front-to-back which are used across multiple asset classes. You must have experience dealing with traders across these asset classes and have an understanding with the trade, static, and market data required in the trade flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for addressing user queries and issues regarding system and application usage, handling a range of technical tasks and complex business problems with a focus on prompt resolution and clear communication.
  • Take charge of training sessions, configuring user settings, and managing permissions during the onboarding phase for new users.
  • Forge a strong working relationship with development teams to relay user needs, pinpoint recurring support issues (including their root causes), and propose enhancements for future platform support.
  • Potentially participate in testing new releases in a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) capacity and oversee selected production releases.
  • Possess a solid understanding of the standard Windows environment and demonstrate specific experience in supporting a sophisticated .NET application suite.
