Full-Stack Developer (React & Java)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer with experience building and supporting enterprise applications using React and Java. This role involves developing new functionality, maintaining existing systems, resolving production issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain full-stack web applications using React on the frontend and Java-based technologies on the backend.
• Partner with developers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver application enhancements and resolve technical issues.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to enable secure and efficient communication between system components.
• Diagnose application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system reliability.
• Conduct peer code reviews to promote coding standards, maintainability, security, and overall code quality.
• Contribute to technical improvements by addressing technical debt and recommending enhancements to existing applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support development and operational activities.
• Assist in technical design discussions and implementation decisions under the guidance of senior team members.
• Support production environments by monitoring application performance, resolving incidents, and participating in production deployments.
• Implement application enhancements, bug fixes, and maintenance activities to ensure continued system stability.

Technical Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in full-stack software development and application support.
• Proficiency in React, Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
• Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise-scale applications.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, including troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with debugging, issue investigation, and root cause analysis.
• Exposure to messaging and cloud technologies such as Kafka or AWS MSK, AWS SQS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and the AWS SDK is an advantage.
• Familiarity with development tools and practices including Git, GitLab, Docker, Maven, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test is preferred.

• Experience supporting production systems, handling incidents, and participating in release and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery teams.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and secure application development practices.
• Previous experience supporting government-sector applications is desirable.
• Knowledge of or exposure to COBOL-based legacy systems is considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts in line with project requirements and testing best practices.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and user stories.
• Analyze functional and business requirements to contribute to the overall test strategy and automation approach.
• Provide regular project updates while effectively managing client and stakeholder expectations.
• Support delivery teams in a fast-paced Agile environment to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing automation coverage, maintaining test stability, and improving reusable test assets.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Experience designing, developing, or implementing test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience working with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with experience gathering and interpreting requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment.
