We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale transformation initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing complex programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering strategic business outcomes from initiation through implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, including planning, scope management, governance, and execution.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage interdependencies, and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
- Maintain effective oversight of project risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and drive Agile or hybrid delivery practices, including release planning and delivery cadence.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear communication, reporting, and alignment across business and technology teams.
- Ensure projects adhere to governance standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational controls.
- Oversee testing activities, implementation readiness, go-live planning, and post-deployment support.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and measure delivery against expected business benefits.
About You
- 5–15 years of project management experience delivering complex transformation programmes, ideally within financial services.
- Demonstrated success managing large, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organisational levels.
- Solid understanding of project governance, risk management, and delivery controls.
- Experience working with Agile, hybrid, or traditional project delivery methodologies.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile are advantageous.
Location & Requirements
- Based onsite in Hong Kong.
- Professional fluency in English is required.
- Cantonese and Mandarin language skills are highly desirable.
