We have a brand new role with our financial services client based in Dublin. The role is a permanent and hybrid position with a lucrative package.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS in a production setting.
- Proven track record of building and deploying Docker images.
- Expertise in migrating applications from other container orchestration solutions (e.g., ECS) to Kubernetes, preferably on AWS EKS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in running Kubernetes workloads, ideally on AWS EKS, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with Confluent or Apache Kafka.
- Experience developing and deploying Helm charts and libraries.
- Hands-on knowledge of Jenkins Core, including crafting and maintaining declarative CI/CD pipelines and libraries.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of UNIX operating systems and shell scripting.
- Solid experience managing services and applications in a large AWS cross-account environment, utilizing IAM and federated SSO.
- Ability to design and maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using tools like Datadog and Splunk.
