As an SAP S/4HANA Application Manager Finance, you will take ownership of the SAP Finance platform and act as the key interface between business stakeholders, external service providers, and IT teams. You will ensure the stable operation, continuous improvement, and strategic development of the SAP S/4HANA landscape while supporting business-critical financial processes across the organisation.
 
You will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA Finance platform, including modules such as FI, CO, Treasury, Cash Management, SD/MM, and various system integrations. Working closely with external Application Management and hosting partners, you will coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities, ensuring service stability, compliance, and operational excellence. In addition, you will plan and deliver projects, releases, and enhancements across the SAP environment while translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
 
Beyond platform ownership, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business users by providing 1st level support, process guidance, and recommendations for system and process improvements. You will ensure that documentation, governance requirements, and compliance standards are maintained, while also acting as a key contact for audits and IT revisions.
 
To succeed in this position, you bring a degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification, together with proven experience supporting SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environments. You have a strong understanding of business processes within one or more SAP domains such as Finance, Controlling, Treasury, Sales, or Procurement, and are familiar with incident, problem, and change management best practices. Experience working with external implementation and support providers, strong analytical skills, and a structured, solution-oriented mindset are essential.
 
You are a communicative and service-oriented professional who enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across different business functions. Native-level or business-fluent German communication skills are mandatory, as you will regularly interact with German-speaking stakeholders and business users. Good English language skills are also required.
