About the job

A large global enterprise undergoing a major HR technology transformation is looking for a Compensation & Variable Pay Lead to own the design and delivery of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay across multiple instances.

The organization operates across several business clusters, legal entities, and joint ventures — this role sits at the center of aligning global compensation strategy with local requirements, at scale.

This is on an initial 12-month contract role based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and configuration of SF Compensation and Variable Pay across multi-instance landscapes
  • Build salary planning, merit, bonus, and incentive programs with regional and legal entity variations
  • Drive standardization and governance across compensation plans, eligibility rules, and release cycles
  • Configure variable pay programs including proration logic, funding models, and payout calculations
  • Define integration requirements with Employee Central, Performance Management, and Payroll
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, pay equity regulations, and audit standards
  • Design compensation reports and dashboards using SF Story Reports
  • Lead workshops with HR, Total Rewards, Finance, and IT stakeholders across regions
  • Mentor a team of functional consultants and analysts

Requirements:

  • 8+ years in HR technology with deep expertise in SF Compensation and Variable Pay
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay certifications — both required
  • Proven experience leading compensation workstreams on large-scale, global HR transformation programs
  • Hands-on experience with multi-instance SF landscapes and multi-currency pay structures
  • Strong knowledge of variable pay design, incentive programs, and total rewards frameworks
  • Experience integrating Compensation with Employee Central, Performance & Goals, and Payroll
  • Familiarity with pay equity regulations and cross-border compliance requirements

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to executive compensation and long-term incentive (LTI) plan design
  • Experience with AI/GenAI applications in compensation analytics

This is a strong fit for seasoned SF Compensation practitioners who are equally comfortable in configuration, stakeholder management, and leading a team — and who thrive in complex, multi-entity global environments.
