Senior Engineer – Test Systems, Electrical & Measurement Engineering

As a Senior Engineer in Test Systems, Electrical and Measurement Engineering, you will play a key role in building and shaping a newly established business unit. In this role, you won’t just deliver projects—you will define technical standards, drive engineering excellence, and actively influence how advanced test systems are designed and implemented, primarily within the medical technology sector.

You will take full ownership of customer projects, from requirements analysis and test concept definition through implementation and final acceptance. Your responsibilities include the design and maintenance of electrical schematics for test systems and control cabinets, the selection of suitable measurement methods, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and customer specifications. Depending on your background, you will also contribute to test software development using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, and/or C#/.NET.

As a senior engineer, you will lead projects with a strong focus on quality, cost, and timelines, support customer meetings and technical discussions, and contribute to offer preparation and business development. You will help establish processes, standards, and best practices that enable the sustainable growth of the new business unit.

You bring a degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or a comparable field, combined with several years of experience in developing special-purpose machinery, ideally test systems. Strong expertise in E-CAD, control cabinet design including power components, and electrical measurement technology is essential. You are a hands-on, solution-oriented engineer with a structured working style, high seniority, and the motivation to build something new. Fluent German (written and spoken) is a must-have, alongside very good English skills.

If you’re looking for a role where your experience and leadership truly matter, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape a new business unit and make a lasting impact.
