I have a brand new permanent position for a Director of Software Engineering. This role will fall in the enterprise security unit and will focus on infrastructure security. The role will be hybrid position, with a requirement to be onsite 1 week per month (3 weeks fully remote)

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of experience designing and building large-scale applications using languages such as Python, Go, or Java
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS CDK)
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud-native services (AWS preferred, or Azure/GCP equivalents), including IAM, messaging queues, and container services
• Proficiency in data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, AWS RDS, Athena, Parquet, and PyArrow
• Experience with data pipeline development and ETL/ELT workflows
• Strong background in automated testing using frameworks like JUnit, PyUnit, Karate, or Playwright
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and automation pipelines

I have a brand new permanent role with a financial services client of mine based in Dublin. This is a hybrid position that would require you to be onsite 1 week per month (3 weeks fully remote).

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in application security or ethical hacking.
• Strong manual testing skills, including deep familiarity with OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Wireshark, and others.
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL).

I have a brand new contract role (6 month initial) with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This will be paying up to €500 per day.

I have a new role for a senior platform engineer with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This role will fall within the application/infrastructure security team, therefore allowing you to gain knowledge and experience in the cybersecurity area.
 

Skills required:

• Cloud/Devops experience and data skills
• Experience in automation and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Knowledge of application security (e.g., Pen Testing, SCA, SAST, DAST) and API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices

I am working with one of my tech clients based in Dublin, and they're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. This role will be a day rate contract role for 12 months.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale global DWDM networks
• Develop processes for operating and building the optical network
• Evaluate new products and manage commercial tenders
• Ensure optical network compliance with standards
• Review and implement changes on optical systems
• Drive projects to improve DWDM network quality and reliability

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in optical planning, modeling tools, and large DWDM network rollouts
• Expertise in IP networking fundamentals and protocols
• In-depth knowledge of major DWDM platforms (Ciena, Infinera, Cisco)
• Experience with major router platforms (Cisco, Juniper) including supervisory and line cards
• Knowledge of internet routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Excellent network analysis and troubleshooting skills
