You will be joining a development team that are in the process of a multi year cloud and finance transformation program. The development team are responsible for developing the integration layer, using JAVA Spring Boot microservices, with all CI/CD pipelines being done in Azure using Azure DevOps.
 
From a technical perspective, you will be developing the backend microservices and implementing the Angular Front End. There will also be some integration work to feed downstream data into the wider application landscape.
 
You are expected to have strong technical skills in JAVA, Spring Boot, Angular and an SQL database. Experience with Kafka and Native Cloud would be highly advantageous however it is not essential provided you have made use of containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes or Openshift.
 
The split will be approximately 50 percent back end and 50 percent front end, the weighting can go up or down depending on where your strength lies.
 
This is an urgent contract job, so candidates that can start in circa 1 month will be prioritised although there is potential that for the ideal candidate they can wait.
