We seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its network engineering function on a 12‑month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, build, and operation of large‑scale optical and IP networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale global DWDM optical networks
  • Develop and maintain processes for optical network operations
  • Drive initiatives to improve network quality, resilience, and performance
  • Evaluate new technologies and support commercial tender processes
  • Ensure compliance with optical networking standards
  • Review, plan, and implement changes across optical systems
  • Provide advanced network analysis and troubleshooting support

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Optical Network Operations or Support
  • Proven experience delivering and operating large DWDM network rollouts
  • Strong knowledge of optical planning and modelling tools
  • Hands‑on experience with DWDM platforms including Ciena, Infinera, and Cisco
  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper routing platforms
  • Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocols
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
