Senior Full Stack Engineer
Location: Galway, Ireland (Hybrid/Flexible Model)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-performing Agile team within the Workplace Investing – Stock Plan Services division. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain user-facing and backend systems that power next-generation equity compensation services.
You will work with a modern tech stack including Angular, Java (Spring Boot), AWS, and Kubernetes, in an environment that values collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications in an Agile environment

Deliver clean, maintainable code with strong attention to performance, scalability, and reliability

Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, QA, and technical leads

Participate in code reviews, improve CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to DevOps practices

Implement and enhance test automation, deployment scripts, and environment strategies

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members

Contribute to 3rd-level production support when required

Help shape the next-generation digital experience for internal and external users
Essential Skills and Experience
Front-End:
-
Strong experience with Angular (2+), JavaScript, and related frameworks (jQuery, Backbone.js)

Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility

Familiarity with CSS frameworks, performance tuning, and responsive layout techniques
Back-End & APIs:

Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

Knowledge of server-side architectures and web services
General / Full Stack:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Familiarity with Design Patterns and software design principles

Experience working in distributed team environments
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

6+ years of professional software development experience

2–3 years of dedicated UI/front-end development experience

Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments

Experience with REST API test automation in Java
-
Exposure to large-scale websites, CMS platforms, or e-commerce systems

Understanding of Web Accessibility standards

Experience in financial services is a plus
