We are partnered with one of my biggest global investment banks who are growing their team in Hong Kong. We are looking for a Q/KDB+ Developer within 6-10 years max of experience.

 

  • Based in Hong Kong (HK PR / Dependent visa / work visa / IANG / Top talent HK visa)

 

 

 

MUST HAVES:

  • Q/KDB+ programming language experience
  • Strong development lifecycle understanding and capability
  • Linux
  • Shell scripting

 

 

Looking for:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
  • Proven track record in managing and executing successful projects.
  • Strong background in system analysis and software application programming.
  • Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of application development.

 

 

Role:

  • Provide expertise in application programming, ensuring that designs align with the overall architectural framework.
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of system operations to establish standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Address significant problems and projects by thoroughly evaluating complex business and system processes, as well as industry standards.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify issues and create innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with various management teams to integrate functions effectively and identify necessary system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of how different business areas, like architecture and infrastructure, work together to achieve goals.

Technical Lead - Incident Response

My client is a leading global corporate intelligence and cyber security firm, currently seeing a highly skilled and experienced Incident Response Associate to join their Hong Kong Cyber Security division.

The team responds to a huge variety of incidents for both public and corporate clients and therefore this role will provide opportunities to broaden security awareness into testing and advisory projects, in addition to deepening your incident response expertise.

Your task will include, but will not be limited to the following:
 
  • You will be the primary technical resource on response cases, deploying your own expertise, creating tailored strategies for response workstreams, etc.
  • Manage host- and network-based incident response investigations: (triage, system recovery, technical evidence collection, and forensics, log, malware and root cause analyses)
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 client incident coverage, but with flexible working practices: the firm is mindful of the need for good work/life balance and offers flexible working options to support wellbeing.

Requirements
  • Approximately 5 years’ experience Incident Response/Cyber Security Analyse with a University degree in Computer Science with at least one of the following certifications GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GNFA.
  • A critical and investigative mindset with in-depth knowledge of cyber threat players, their tactics, procedures, and methods.
  • Strong communication skills, in Cantonese and English, are non-negotiable. Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Experience engaging with forensics, containment and restoration/recovery.
  • Experience using scripting to solve cyber security problems, an ability to demonstrate an interest in doing so, etc.
  • Proven ability to liaise, converse and negotiate with all levels of an organization, from C-level to technical and business teams.
  • Certification in EnCE, CFSR, CISSP, GREM, CCNA, MCFE, OSCP, Network+ and Security+ will be an advantage

As a Transactions Specialist, you will provide critical expertise in the execution and coordination of transactions across Private Equity, Real Estate, Credit, and Infrastructure.

 

Setting: As part of a dynamic and collaborative team, you will be focused on delivering operational excellence and ensuring all processes comply with internal standards and deadlines.

 

Focus:

 

  • Execute various types of fund transactions on behalf of the client entities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

 

  • Coordinate professionally with internal stakeholders (Investment and Legal teams) and external partners.

 

  • Prepare and manage transaction documentation including subscription forms, transfer agreements, and other legal papers.

 

  • Manage KYC document compilation and submission, ensuring timely onboarding of entities.

 

  • Handle ad-hoc legal and operational queries and participate in internal projects aimed at process improvement.

 

Background: In order to be successful in this role, prior experience in financial services, ideally within asset management and with a focus on private markets transactions, is highly desirable.

 

Language: Fluent knowledge of English is required, and German knowledge would be considered as a plus.

 

Duration: This is initially a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
