MUST have requirements:
- Coming from Software Development background and now working as Backend L3 Support Engineer (at least 3years+ min)
- Working at a Financial Services / Trading firms
- Currently based in Hong Kong
- Mandarin & English speaker
Role:
- Integration Testing: Conduct and improve tests for software reliability.
- L3 Support and Problem Resolution: Act as the main contact for troubleshooting trading system issues. Collaborate with the team to quickly address user concerns.
- Change Management: Oversee backend service releases and production changes. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- System Reliability and Maintenance: Work with the SRE team to set up monitoring and alerts. Plan system upgrades and improvements.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in application or technical support.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems like Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
- Familiarity with shell scripting, Ruby, Golang, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with exchange platforms.
- Experience in technical support within banking or finance.
- Knowledge of DevOps, especially with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Experience in a Linux environment and related tools.
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing software on AWS is a plus.
- Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for SOPs.
