We are seeking an AI/Data Integration System Engineer (Python) to manage our client's AI projects from start to finish, including quick prototypes and large-scale production.

This role combines hands-on AI development—creating tools that improve trading and risk management—with data engineering to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will

• Experiment with new AI methods, build efficient data pipelines, and integrate AI insights.
• Collaborate with innovative AI startups to identify valuable technologies and ensure our AI efforts are practical and forward-thinking
• Working closely with our Product Manager, engineers, and investment teams, you will prioritize projects and deliver effective solutions that meet our goals, while maintaining high standards of security and compliance in a regulated environment.

Backend Services & Pipelines

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and data processing pipelines.

AI Integration

• Build RAG pipelines for financial and unstructured data and integrate AI systems into workflows.

Infrastructure & Operations

• Monitor Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure and optimize performance for stable deployments.

Looking for:

• Backend Engineering: Strong Python experience in building data pipelines.
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with relational and distributed databases.
• Cloud Experience: Ability to manage services on cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• RAG Workflows: Understanding of chunking, embedding, and vector search.
• Security Awareness: Knowledge of security frameworks and data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).

I'm looking to speak with application security analysts to join a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This role would be a 12 month initial day rate contracting role. It will also be a hybrid position with a requirement to be onsite 1 week per month (3 weeks fully remote).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on application and API security.
• Deep understanding of API technologies including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC, as well as API gateways and authentication/authorization protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
• Solid grasp of secure coding principles and the OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Awareness of common API vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Exposure to runtime security concepts, including eBPF and traffic analysis for API discovery, is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with API security frameworks and testing tools (e.g., DAST, SAST), and familiarity with runtime API protection platforms is a plus.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Finance & Reporting Specialist who is passionate about shaping the next generation of our Finance landscape based on the SAP BW/4HANA suite.

You will play a key role in creating a robust system, process, and data foundation within the CFO function — enhancing efficiency, flexibility, and analytical capability. You will join a dynamic, experienced team of finance specialists to co-create and evolve our Management Information System (MIS) and Financial Data Store (FDS) alongside colleagues from our CFO business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the redesign of the finance system landscape at Julius Baer based on SAP BW/4HANA.

• Understand overarching requirements and solution designs across multiple workstreams, breaking them down into deliverable work packages.

• Drive implementation of work packages and contribute hands-on to development where needed.

• Analyse existing data flows and reporting structures, and define improvements for future set-ups.

• Develop SAP BW/4HANA models such as ADSOs, transformations, and CDS views.

• Create SAP HANA Calculation Views, including SQL-based views.

• Design and develop ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) with table functions.

• Ensure quality through end-to-end development lifecycle management, including testing and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of proven SAP BW/4HANA development experience, including modelling of ADSOs and transformations.

• Solid understanding of finance, reporting, and data structures within the banking domain.

Role:
