We are seeking a skilled Voice Engineer to maintain and support our Network and Telephony infrastructure, as well as manage and deliver Network and Telephony projects across Asia, ensuring adherence to proposed budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support network and telephony infrastructure, including IP telephony, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Trader Voice (BT/IPC), Cisco Expressway services, voice recording systems, and mobile voice services in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Ensure that Asia-Pacific Network and Telecom services align with business requirements regarding stability, resilience, and performance.
  • Monitor voice system performance, capacity, and call quality, optimizing as necessary to maintain high availability and deliver an excellent user experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for voice systems, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for voice infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex voice-related issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships for voice-related hardware, software, and services.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on voice systems and features.
  • Oversee product lifecycles for voice platforms.
  • Ensure the implementation of global standards and best practices across all network infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation.
  • Provide escalation support and advanced troubleshooting for critical issues on voice platforms.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical and voice operation experience in investment banking, financial institutions, or large enterprise environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Call Manager configuration and Cisco Unity.
  • Experience with trader voice platforms (e.g., BT ITS platform) and voice recording systems.
  • Proficient in TCP/IP, QoS, and VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323, RTP, SRTP).
  • Experience with SIP trunking and PSTN connectivity.
  • Familiarity with voice security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of QoS (Quality of Service) implementation for voice traffic.
  • Regional project implementation experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment, both individually and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
