My client is a leading global fintech and blockchain expanding rapidly in Asia and are seeking a highly experienced Settlements Specialist to join their B2C and B2B teams. Successful candidates will be responsible for managing a stable team, enhancing governance and controls, and driving process improvements to reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

 
  • Lead and manage the global settlement function, including trade, deposit, and withdrawal operations across multiple asset classes
  • Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Champion automation, implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Be the SME for complex settlement issues, partnering with Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Compliance, as well as banks, custodians, and regulators
  • Provide strategic oversight, reporting, and leadership to support team development and operational excellence
 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • 10+ years of Settlement/Operations experience, with TradFi/large financial institutions managerial experience
  • Experience in FinTech, Crypto, or Digital Asset Exchanges will be an additional bonus 
  • Excellent experience in Governance, Risk, and Control Frameworks as well as with Settlement Systems, Automation tools, and cross-border team management
  • Strong knowledge of settlement practices across FX, securities, and/or digital assets
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English
