The client is expanding their regulatory and financial operations footprint in London as part of a wider transformation programme. This hire is a key addition to a rapidly growing team focused on global e-Invoicing and digital reporting compliance.
This role is suited to a highly experienced Business Analyst with deep exposure to interpreting regulatory mandates and converting them into actionable functional and technical requirements. You will work across finance, tax, compliance, and technology streams, ensuring the organisation remains aligned with complex and evolving e-Invoicing obligations.
Essential Skills
- Proven ability to interpret and translate regulatory, tax, or legal documentation into clear business and functional requirements.
- Hands-on experience with e-Invoicing programmes and digital reporting processes.
- Strong background in producing documentation across the full project lifecycle (Scope, BRDs/FRDs, UAT support).
- Experience with e-Invoicing formats such as UBL, Factur-X, XML.
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams to shape compliant solutions, including system design considerations and end-to-end process alignment.
- Comfortable analysing complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks and assessing operational impacts.
- Analyse and interpret global e-Invoicing regulations and transform them into requirements for business and technology teams.
- Engage senior stakeholders to validate regulatory impacts, gather needs, and influence solution direction.
- Document as-is and future-state invoicing and reporting processes.
- Work closely with engineering, data, and systems teams to develop and implement compliant solutions.
- Support UAT, ensuring regulatory alignment and business accuracy across all deliverables.
- Monitor regulatory updates and communicate potential system and process implications.
- Take strong ownership of deliverables as a senior individual contributor, with the opportunity to evolve into a lead role as the team scales.
