Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Finance & Reporting Specialist who is passionate about shaping the next generation of our Finance landscape based on the SAP BW/4HANA suite.
You will play a key role in creating a robust system, process, and data foundation within the CFO function — enhancing efficiency, flexibility, and analytical capability. You will join a dynamic, experienced team of finance specialists to co-create and evolve our Management Information System (MIS) and Financial Data Store (FDS) alongside colleagues from our CFO business unit.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the redesign of the finance system landscape at Julius Baer based on SAP BW/4HANA.

Understand overarching requirements and solution designs across multiple workstreams, breaking them down into deliverable work packages.

Drive implementation of work packages and contribute hands-on to development where needed.

Analyse existing data flows and reporting structures, and define improvements for future set-ups.

Develop SAP BW/4HANA models such as ADSOs, transformations, and CDS views.

Create SAP HANA Calculation Views, including SQL-based views.

Design and develop ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) with table functions.

Ensure quality through end-to-end development lifecycle management, including testing and documentation.

Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align delivery with requirements.
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of proven SAP BW/4HANA development experience, including modelling of ADSOs and transformations.

Strong expertise in data modelling, ABAP programming, CDS views, and HANA calculation views.

Knowledge of SAP FSDM and SAP PaPM is a plus.

Solid understanding of finance, reporting, and data structures within the banking domain.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.

Master’s degree in economics, business administration, banking, quantitative finance, (business) informatics, data science, or a related field.
Nice to Have

Wealth management or banking domain experience.
