Python Developer (Quant Automation)

We are seeking a Developer with a focus on quant automation, testing, and deploying code into production. This role is ideal for candidates at the AVP or VP level who are skilled in Python automation and have strong coding capabilities. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between developers and the business side, ensuring efficient automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for software applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Deploy code into production environments and ensure quality assurance.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree / PhD in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-10 years+ of experience in automation development, with a focus on testing.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation tools.
  • Excellent coding skills, with a focus on quality and maintainability.
  • Good communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

As a Business Analyst who focuses on Insider Monitoring, you will provide your expertise in the domain of Compliance Risk Management, ensuring solutions meet legal, regulatory, and operational standards globally.

 

Setting:

 

As part of a dynamic team, your focus will be on delivering the best possible solutions in the field of Insider Monitoring, supporting regulatory compliance and internal risk controls.

 

Focus:

 

In this role, you will lead a global analysis of current Insider Monitoring processes by engaging with key stakeholders across Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and IT teams to gather and validate requirements. You will document existing workflows, tools, data sources, analytics, and reports to build a comprehensive view of the “as-is” state. Using this foundation, you will help develop and compare solution options, estimating costs and benefits to support a strong business case, and evaluating technologies to determine the most effective and efficient path forward.

 

As the project moves into the design phase, you will create detailed functional requirements and participate in collaborative workshops with SMEs and IT to shape the final solution. Additionally, you’ll design integration strategies with existing systems—including core banking, payment processing, and CRM platforms—to ensure a seamless data flow and robust analytics capability. Your work will directly contribute to building a future-ready Insider Monitoring solution aligned with both regulatory demands and organizational goals.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, particularly in Compliance, Risk Management, or Legal areas
  • Solid background in Non-Financial Risk, ideally with Market Conduct exposure
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM, Economics, Banking, or Finance
  • Proven experience in project management, business analysis, and analytics/reporting
  • Fluent English is required

 

 

Background:

 

To be successful in this role, prior experience in Insider Monitoring within the financial services industry is essential.

 

Duration: This is an initial contract role for a 6 month period, with strong potential for extension.

You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining complex surveys that capture how regional audiences engage with unreleased content from early pilots to globally recognized titles.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain custom and templated surveys using tools like Decipher, Forsta/Confirmit, Qualtrics, or Alchemer
  • Run full QA cycles to ensure survey logic, design, and data capture are flawless
  • Manage localization and translation workflows across multiple markets
  • Partner with the research team to support UAT for new templates and special research projects
  • Troubleshoot and enhance survey performance and scalability

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience programming complex, dynamic surveys using enterprise-grade tools
  • Strong hands-on experience with Decipher (Forsta) or equivalent, including PXML coding, template management, and end-to-end survey lifecycle ownership.
