My client is seeking an experienced Quant Trader to join their Quant Trading team in Hong Kong, responsible for trading and managing risks associated with different crypto products, including Spots and Derivatives. The team develops and implements trading strategies in fast-paced and complex trading environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research/pricing/execution to facilitate hedging by using automated trading infrastructure, monitor and manage risk.
  • Working closely with the trading team and related Quant Strats, improve existing strategies and develop new ones
  • Simultaneously, identifying new markets/opportunities
  • Perform post-trade analysis of strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Quant Dev team(s) to implement trading strategies and system features.
 

Requirements:

  • Master’s, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative analytical field.
  • At least 5 years of profitable trading experience on a leading trading desk in a bank, prop shop or market making environment in any asset class.
  • Indepth, proven experience in successfully building and managing trades.
  • Python skills with a keen interest in further enhancing these skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail and excellent organization skills.
