We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation that supports product use, system functionality, and content localization. Your work will help improve content quality, support operational processes, and enhance user understanding across a global audience.
You will collaborate with subject matter experts from various departments to create and maintain high-quality documentation, including language guides, process manuals, and training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Create, edit, and maintain user-facing documentation, including language guidelines, process documents, and technical references.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define documentation needs and delivery timelines.
- Develop supporting materials such as FAQs, quick-start guides, onboarding tools, and training content.
- Ensure documentation meets internal standards for usability, readability, and accessibility.
- Structure content using approved templates, formatting tools, and style guides.
- Maintain documentation quality in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or content development.
- Excellent command of written English, including grammar, tone, and structure.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, Google Docs, or Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a contract role based in Singapore.
