Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Finance & Reporting Specialist who is passionate about shaping the next generation of our Finance landscape based on the SAP BW/4HANA suite.

IT Application Project Manager

Our client is one of the largest aerospace manufacturers in Europe, based in Switzerland.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage projects of medium complexity, including planning, implementation, and documentation.
• Provide support, monitoring, user administration, and operational security of Teamcenter and NX applications.
• Regularly develop and update applications.
• Prepare situation analyses, solution concepts, and specifications.
• Offer advice and support to users in application and process handling.
• Analyze and eliminate application faults and errors, and coordinate between users and manufacturers/suppliers.
• Develop, implement, and maintain concepts and guidelines for user authorizations in PLM and CAx.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or mechanical engineering (at least a Bachelor's degree) with several years of experience in PLM and CAx.
• Proven experience in managing and developing PLM and CAx applications; knowledge of Teamcenter, NX, and Capital is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (at least C1 level).
• High consulting expertise in complex systems and business environments, along with experience in project management.
• A creative, innovative, goal-oriented, and honest personality with high resilience, personal responsibility, initiative, and willingness to undertake special assignments.
• Ability to clearly explain complex relationships and promote teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and interpret client business needs.
• Take a leading role, working alongside technical experts, in designing, drafting proposals for, and implementing comprehensive IT solutions.
• Collaborate on and execute IT projects.
• Plan and deliver customer presentations and workshops.
• Address client requirements using structured methodologies, identify project risks, and provide effective recommendations.
• Serve as Deputy Team Leader for Operation Services (managing a team of 4-5 employees).
• Act as the main point of contact for operational matters, including managing operating contracts, SLAs, and escalations.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Oversee customer onboarding within the scope of service agreements.

Your Profile

• Solid education or advanced training in information technology (EFZ/HF).
• Experience in system engineering.
• Enthusiasm for daily interactions with clients and team members.
• Advantageous knowledge in technologies such as Microsoft Windows (Server/Client), Microsoft 365 (Endpoint Management, Exchange Online, SharePoint), VDI systems (VMware Horizon / Citrix), and Sophos firewalls.
• High level of personal responsibility, goal-oriented and independent work style.
• Desire for continuous personal development.
• Proficiency in German.
• English knowledge is a plus.
• Category B driving license.
