My client is a leading global cryptocurrency firm currently expanding their Trading Desk Operations team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will work with a trading team responsible for managing risks associated with various crypto products wherein they will support trading and funding operations, while also streamlining processes to support the growth of the overall trading business.

Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for the full suite of trade support to the trading desks, focusing on trade bookings, trade verifications, balance and position reconciliations, P&L attributions.
  • Set up new accounts and trading books, carefully maintaining data integrity and data mapping.
  • Perform funding operations and settlement checks, Review funding usage and manage internal capital distribution records
  • Investigate and resolve fund transfer issues, liaising with Treasury and/or external brokers
  • Work in close collaboration with tech teams to develop and enhance booking and reconciliation procedures, monitor and escalate risk positions against internal benchmarks and develop new monitoring tools accordingly 
  • Design and develop booking models for new products and related checks and reconciliations

Requirements 
  • Degree holder in Finance/Accounting, Business or Operational related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of Trade Support, Operations, or Product Control from the trading floor of a leading Financial Institution. (Experience in a crypto trading firm beneficial, not essential).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills detailed oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Python with a vested interest to expand your technical skills, coupled with a passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain.
  • Excellent English communication skills with the in Cantonese and Mandarin an added advantage.
