The hiring company is a World-Class Global Consumer Electronics Company headquartered in the US. They are seeking a Commercial Lead to oversee the end-to-end operations and growth strategy for physical brand stores across the APAC region overlapping sales/marketing/business commercial functions.
This role oversees in-store concepts, understands business models, consolidates reports and collaborates with partner teams on store design. They require someone to analyze trends and drive entire store direction by working closely with sales, marketing, and local market teams to deliver outstanding experiences- driving sales performance, and ensuring brand consistency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with APAC markets to oversee store concepts, retail design, and execution, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive in-store sales growth, improve operational efficiency, and achieve annual targets.
- Understand local business models to tailor customer experiences and store offerings to each market’s needs.
- Consolidate and analyze business reports and retail sales data to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor sales and marketing trends as well as competitor activity to recommend actions that boost store performance and market reach.
- Oversee visual merchandising, product displays, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and impactful presentation.
- Collaborate with store teams and distributors to deliver engaging in-store experiences and consistent branding across locations.
- Develop and coordinate training programs to ensure store teams have strong product knowledge and deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular store visits and mystery shopping to evaluate store standards, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide regular feedback to commercial and product teams on in-store performance and shopper insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a commercial or retail operations role, ideally covering multiple markets in APAC.
- Strong understanding of commercial operations, store operations, visual merchandising, and in-store consumer engagement.
- Confident working with business reports and sales data to inform commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with stakeholders across markets.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
