A global financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support initiatives within its middle office technology landscape. This role focuses on enhancing systems and processes across capital markets products, including structured instruments and foreign exchange.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive system improvements, streamline workflows, and support ongoing transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and system requirements across stakeholders
- Support system enhancements and process improvements
- Analyse workflows, data flows, and system integrations to identify gaps
- Produce key documentation (e.g. functional specs, test cases, process maps)
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility
- Ensure alignment with risk, control, and compliance standards
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in business or systems analysis within financial services
- Strong understanding of Structured Products
- Familiarity with middle office processes and trade lifecycle
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Working knowledge of SQL and system integrations (e.g. APIs, data formats)
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
